If you don't have a website, have one! Today, everyone should have a presence in the internet – if it is for your
business, your personal promotion, your political views or anything you have to say. The internet is the best and
the most popular way to find information today, and you should be found as well. It's easy setting up a website.
You don't have to be an expert in anything, and it can be done for free. You can create a Word document and
convert it to a web page, or you can hire a web developer to set you a professional site. Uploading it to the web
is also free in services like Geocities.

Send people links to your site, if it's by email or any other way. Add the link to the signature of you outgoing
emails. Add it to you business card.
-
Be active in the internet. Don't assume people will visit your website just because it's there. Participate in
discussions on the internet. Post messages in forums, and write talkbacks to news articles. Don't forget to add a
link to your site. Make sure that the discussions / forums / articles are on the subject of your website, so you
expose your site to people that it is relevant to them.
-
Be active in social networking websites such as Facebook. Join groups and write on walls. Find people that share
your interests.
-
If you have images related to your website – upload them to websites such as Flickr. If you have a video – Upload
it to Youtube. Don't forget to write relevant information about yourself and your website in your profile. Write
comments to your files and to others' files.
